Gopaca Fábrica de Papel e Cartão S.A.
Gopaca is a company which specializes in corrugated cardboard, fanfold, packages, including high quality printing packages, honeycomb and honeycomb panels.
Gopaca’s production process is based on innovative and last generation machinery, along with a young and dynamic team, heart set on customer satisfaction.
Simão’s Paper Mill was founded in 1923 by Gopaca’s forbears, using the early artisanal methods of paper manufacturing.
In 1993 we developed the paper production line in Paços de Brandão – Santa Maria da Feira, thus inaugurating the brand.
In 1998 we partnered with SONAE Group, thereby making better use of our production process by creating thermal and electrical energy.
In 2003, GOPACA began producing cardboard packages, using a parallel, integrated industrial structure.
In 2008 we innovated our production unit, acquiring an EMBA casemaker for packages and a Ward rotary die cutter for four colour printing and vacuum transportation.
In 2009 we expanded our coverage of the Iberian Market, as well as Africa and became the first in Portugal to acquire a world famous German BHS/2.8mt (width) corrugator.
