In June 1996, “Emprametal, José Maria Oliveira” was established on Bouça Longa Street, about 1 km from its current location, with only 4 machines and one employee. From the beginning, the Founder aimed to establish a strong reputation for the company, giving the company the necessary recognition as a well-prepared entity with adequate technical expertise.

Since then, the facilities have undergone successive renovations, with the factory layout expanding year by year. In 2021, the company was relocated to its current facilities. In terms of equipment, Emprametal has been following a policy of acquiring CNC lathes and presses to meet market demands. The company is active in the automotive, electrical, and household appliance sectors as its main markets.
