Organized by the Portuguese Entrepreneurial Association (AEP), the participation of 17 companies of the construction sector at the BIG 5 SHOW 2017 – International Building & Construction Show, held in Dubai between 26th and 29th of November, was an excellent opportunity to contact several business partners.
For the companies that joined the entourage, this will be an experience to repeat, which resulted in very positive business contacts exceeding expectations.
Since 2008 AEP has been responsible for the participation of Portuguese companies in the BIG 5 SHOW Fair, a very important event for the whole region of the Middle East, but also for Southeast Asia and Africa.
This year alone, AEP has taken large dozens of companies to Arab Health (January), Gulfood (February), Index (May), Gulfhost (September) and Gulfood Manufacturing (October).
It should be noted that, in terms of imports, the United Arab Emirates was Portugal’s 86th supplier in 2015 and that the share of Portuguese goods external sales between 2011 and 2015 was the highest.

BIG 5 SHOW 2017 foi uma oportunidade para contactar vários parceiros
A participação, organizada pela AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal, de 17 empresas do setor da construção na Feira BIG 5 SHOW 2017 – International Building & Construction Show, que se realizou no Dubai, entre 26 e 29 de novembro, foi uma excelente oportunidade para contactar vários parceiros de negócio.
Para as empresas que integraram a comitiva, esta será uma participação a repetir, que resultou em contactos de negócio muito positivos e que superaram as expectativas.
Desde 2008 que a AEP é a responsável pela participação de empresas portuguesas na Feira BIG 5 SHOW, um evento muito importante para toda a região do Médio Oriente, mas também para o Sudoeste Asiático e África.
Só este ano, a AEP já levou largas dezenas de empresas à Arab Health (janeiro), Gulfood (fevereiro), Index (maio), Gulfhost (setembro) e à Gulfood Manufacturing (outubro).
De salientar que, em 2015, ao nível das importações, os Emirados Árabes Unidos foram o 86º fornecedor de Portugal e que a quota nas vendas portuguesas de bens ao exterior foi, entre 2011 e 2015, a mais elevada.
