ADIRA is a Portuguese manufacturer specialized in the development of solutions for sheet metal processing with worldwide projection of its own technology. ADIRA’s Press Brakes, Shears and Laser Cutting Systems were and are still today recognized as world-leading technological equipment. Today, celebrating 61 years of existence, ADIRA enters the additive manufacturing market, with ambitious and disruptive products, following the current Industry 4.0 revolution, more specifically in the Additive Manufacturing of large parts.
ADIRA has developed solutions for manufacturing big-sized metal Additive Manufacturing components, through the Powder Bed Fusion (PBF) family of processes. We have a significant Engineering capability in our R&D Department due to 50 years of long and intimate relationship with several universities and equivalent institutions. Approximately 30% of our collaborators have a University degree, thus assuring that Adira will keep riding the crest of the wave for innovation. This is a department where we have been continuously investing and has resulted in international recognition with both the Cotec award and Leonardo Davinci award for Innovation.
