As part of the PORTUGAL2020 and Compete2020 program, Operational Program for Competitiveness and Internationalization, Axis II – Joint Projects – Internationalization, the Portuguese Entrepreneurial Association (AEP) is promoting the second participation of Portuguese companies in the food, beverage and catering sectors, at the HOFEX 2017 fair, to be held in Hong Kong between 8 and 11 May 2017.
According to the organization, the next edition of HOFEX, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center, will be the largest ever. Estimates point to the presence of 2.500 exhibitors, which will occupy an area of 65.000 square meters, and be visited by 40.000 international and regional buyers. These numbers make this event an excellent platform for doing business with Chinese companies in Hong Kong and other regions of China, but also with other Asian countries.
HOFEX is a biennial event and in 2015, the first year of AEP’s participation, it registered a high growth rate compared to previous editions, with a total of 2.400 exhibitors from 57 countries and 44 official pavilions, which were attended by approximately 38.000 professional visitors, 10.000 of whom came from several countries in Asia, Europe, America, Australia and Africa.

AEP promove participação nacional na HOFEX 2017 em Hong Kong
A AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal, no âmbito do programa PORTUGAL2020 e Compete2020, Programa Operacional da Competitividade e internacionalização, Eixo II – Projetos conjuntos – Internacionalização, está a promover a segunda participação de empresas portuguesas do setor alimentar, das bebidas e da restauração, na feira HOFEX 2017, que terá lugar em Hong Kong, entre os dias 8 e 11 de Maio de 2017.
Segundo a organização, a próxima edição da HOFEX, que se realiza no centro de Convenções e Exposições de Hong Kong, será a maior de sempre. As estimativas apontam para a presença de 2 500 expositores, que vão ocupar uma área de 65 000 metros quadrados, e ser visitados por 40 000 compradores internacionais e regionais. Números que fazem deste certame uma excelente plataforma para efetuar negócios com empresas chinesas, de Hong Kong e de outras regiões daquele país, mas também, de outros países asiáticos.
