Regional economic integration in the Mediterranean region remains a challenging endeavor. While digital trade has become one of the strongest and fastest growing sectors in the Southern Mediterranean, trading across borders is still expensive, time-consuming and full of logistical challenges, in particular for SMEs. At the same time, foreign direct investments in the region are increasingly expected to provide tangible benefits for the creation of jobs and a digital and green transition.

Based on its large regional network, the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) will bring together experts, policymakers and private sector representatives from across the Mediterranean to provide insights, perspectives and solutions that can turn trade and investment into an impactful driver for regional economic development.

Join us online for the third edition of the UfM Trade and Investment Forum on Thursday, 11 November 2021, from 10:00 to 14:00 CET.
