The Portuguese Entrepreneurial Association (AEP) was honored in Angola as the organizer of the Portuguese presence at FILDA 2017, as the “best international representation” in the 33rd edition of the International Fair of Luanda, which took place between 26 and 30, in Luanda Bay.
Under the motto “Diversifying the economy and boosting national production, aiming a self-sufficient and exporting Angola,” the fair was attended by 17 Portuguese companies, the most representative among foreign delegations present at the largest multi-sector fair in Angola.
For the President of AEP, Paulo Nunes de Almeida, “this distinction proves the importance that Portuguese companies assume in the Angolan market”.
Paulo Nunes de Almeida believes that “2017 will be marked as the year of the re-launch of the Angolan economy, and it’s therefore essential that Portuguese companies are present in such a diversified and important market in the ranking of Portuguese exports.”
To foster trade relations between the two countries, the President of AEP recalls the recent participation in the II Angola-Portugal Forum, held in Luanda at the end of January – where AEP was also accompanied by a group of Portuguese companies – and the experience that the association has in the Angolan market, where it has organized, since 1990, numerous participations in fairs and missions, having already involved large hundreds of Portuguese companies.
The AEP mission, organized with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Portugal-Angola and AICEP Portugal Global, brought together companies from the areas of construction, agri-food, engineering, metalmechanics and ceramics, and its main objective was to consolidate and strengthen trade relations between the two countries, creating new business opportunities in sectors already traditionally exporting to Angola.
During the five days, FILDA had, besides Angolan and Portuguese exhibitors, businessmen from Brazil, Sweden, South Africa, Zambia, India and China, with a total of 238 exhibitors gathered in 12 thousand square meters of fair, which for the first time happened in the coastline area of Luanda.

Presença portuguesa premiada como a “melhor representação internacional” na FILDA 2017
A AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal foi distinguida em Angola, na qualidade de organizadora da presença portuguesa na FILDA 2017, como a “melhor representação internacional” na 33ª edição da Feira Internacional de Luanda, que decorreu entre os dias 26 e 30, na Baía de Luanda.
Sob o lema “Diversificar a economia e potenciar a produção nacional, visando uma Angola autossuficiente e exportadora”, a feira contou com a presença de 17 empresas portuguesas, a mais representativa entre as comitivas estrangeiras presentes na maior feira multissetorial de Angola.
Para o Presidente da AEP, Paulo Nunes de Almeida, “esta distinção vem provar a importância que as empresas portuguesas assumem no mercado angolano”.
Paulo Nunes de Almeida acredita que “2017 ficará marcado como o ano do relançamento da economia angolana, sendo, por isso, fundamental que as empresas portuguesas estejam presentes num mercado tão diversificado e importante no ranking das exportações de Portugal”.
Para fomentar as relações comerciais entre os dois países, o Presidente da AEP recorda a recente participação no II Fórum Angola-Portugal, que decorreu em Luanda no final de janeiro – onde a AEP também esteve acompanhada por um grupo de empresas portuguesas – e a experiência que a associação tem no mercado angolano, onde organiza, desde 1990, inúmeras participações em feiras e missões, tendo já envolvido largas centenas de empresas nacionais.
A Missão da AEP, organizada com o apoio da Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Portugal – Angola e da AICEP Portugal Global, reuniu empresas das áreas da construção, agroalimentar, engenharia, metalomecânica e cerâmica e teve como principal objetivo consolidar e reforçar as relações comerciais entre os dois países, abrindo novas oportunidades de negócio em setores já tradicionalmente exportadores para Angola.
Durante os cinco dias, a FILDA contou com, para além de expositores angolanos e portugueses, empresários do Brasil, Suécia, África do Sul, Zâmbia, Índia e China, num total de 238 expositores reunidos em 12 mil metros quadrados de feira, que pela primeira vez aconteceu na marginal de Luanda.
