The AEP promotes auto-sector companies in Germany
The Portuguese Business Association (AEP) travelled to Stuttgart, Germany, between the 21st and the 23rd of May, with a group of Portuguese companies which took part in the Portuguese pavilion at the Global Automotive Components and Suppliers fair, where the most recent auto-sector products and technology are showcased.
The Portuguese delegation was organised by the AEP together with the Association of Auto-Industry Manufacturers (AFIA), and comprised nine companies, with the stated purpose of strengthening their market presence and increasing exports. The Secretary of State of the Economy, João Neves, also visited the fair on the 22nd of May, accompanied by Miguel Crespo, representative of AICEP in Germany and the director and secretary of AFIA, Pedro Carvalho and Adão Ferreira.
The AEP is motivated by the goal of providing companies with business opportunities in a demanding but attractive market, with great potential. Germany continues to be one of the most important organisers of international fairs and a strategic trade partner for Portugal.
The companies which took part in the AEP led delegation were A. Henriques, Epedal, Fundinio, Incompol, Sonafi, TrimNW, WRK, Optimal and Fabor.
This was the third year in a row that the AEP organised the Portuguese delegation at Global Automotive. The Portuguese Business Association continues to promote collective participation in fairs in Germany, such as: IZB in Wolfsburg, dedicated to the auto parts industry; BAU fair in Munich, for construction, construction materials and interiors, and the IAA fair in Frankfurt, dedicated to the auto-sector.

AEP promoveu empresas do setor automóvel na Alemanha
A AEP – Associação Empresarial de Portugal esteve em Estugarda, na Alemanha, entre os dias 21 e 23 de maio, a acompanhar um grupo de empresas portuguesas que esteve no Pavilhão de Portugal na feira Global Automotive Components and Suppliers, espaço onde são apresentados os mais recentes produtos e tecnologias para o setor automóvel.
A participação nacional, organizada pela AEP em parceria com a AFIA – Associação de Fabricantes para a Indústria Automóvel, contou com nove empresas, que tiveram o objetivo de reforçar a presença no mercado para aumentar as exportações, e contou também com a visita (dia 22 de maio) do Secretário de Estado da Economia, João Neves; do delegado da AICEP na Alemanha, Miguel Crespo; e do Diretor e Secretário da AFIA, Pedro Carvalho e Adão Ferreira, respetivamente.
Para a AEP, esta participação teve como objetivo proporcionar às empresas oportunidades de negócios num mercado exigente mas atrativo e com um grande potencial para explorar. A Alemanha continua a ser uma das mais importantes organizadoras de feiras internacionais e um parceiro comercial estratégico para Portugal.
As empresas que integraram a comitiva da AEP foram a A. Henriques, Epedal, Fundinio, Incompol, Sonafi, TrimNW, WRK, Optimal e Fabor.
Pelo 3º ano consecutivo a organizar a participação nacional na Global Automotive, a AEP promove, no mercado Alemão, a participação coletiva nas feiras: IZB em Wolfsburg, dedicada aos componentes para a indústria automóvel; feira BAU em Munique, para a construção, materiais de construção e interiores, e em Frankfurt a feira IAA, dedicada ao setor automóvel.
