Remote work it’s becoming even more online, due new viruses’ outbreaks, however, that’s only available for a small part of organizations. What about factories, restaurants, gyms, shopping malls, how will they tackle this problem? Will they have to close for three months? How can we ensure that this won’t happen again or the granularity will be smaller? Will companies put millions of people at home without a job? So, what is the solution? It’s easy, we have to adapt!
Bandora develops a SaaS that pushes commercial buildings to operate to their utmost efficiency, i.e. energy consumption, O&M costs, comfort and health for their occupants. The goal is to make buildings autonomous in their O&M operations through a continuous real-time commissioning. Because we integrate with all the existing energy and IoT management systems in buildings, we do not overlap with existing investments in building’s automation, but complement them! Bandora comprehends a data exchange gateway that connects to any building system, a crowd comfort feedback app for occupants, an AI engine to correlate data, and a simple and intuitive dashboard for assets managers or CFO level, where the savings, comfort and indoor air quality are online.
However, due the recent happenings and the worldwide level spread, Bandora urges to introduce new levels of data correlation: thermal cameras in buildings to identify possible ill occupants and CO2 sensors to identify zones of large crowds. The goal is to ensure a healthier building, whenever it’s automated the fresh air inlet or just send a notification to occupants and facility managers to simple open windows.
For instance, the conference room it’s scheduled at 9am, Bandora knows the number of occupants, the comfort temperature, how much fresh air it’s needed to ensure the high standards of air quality for that amount of people and identify potentials hazards, how much time it takes to rise 1ºC and when to start heating the room with less energy consumption and cost, without complaints or distractions!
