A. Silva Matos – Metalomecânica, SA (ASMM) founded in 1980 is a company geared primarily for steel fabrications in the oil and gas sector and other industries such as chemical and petrochemical.

At the beginning of its operation we worked for the food industries, but in the late ’80s we specialized in the fabrication of pressure equipment’s.

We have a production line for the manufacture of LPG tanks, which allows an output of up to 5,000 units / year.

Ever since an early stage we implemented a Total Quality Management System, being one of the first Portuguese steelwork companies to be certified according to ISO 9001. Currently we are also certified by ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Health and Safety at Work).

We are also certified by ASME with U stamp.

The quality of our products has always a strong recognition by our customers, as indicated by our export rates of over 85%. Our main export markets are Spain, France, UK, Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Germany, UAE, Morocco, Argelia, Tunísia, Qatar and South Africa.
